On Monday, the PTAB Bar Association postponed its 2020 annual conference scheduled for this week, stating:

The PTAB Bar Association has made the difficult decision to postpone this week’s conference in light of the increasing spread of COVID-19 and the uncertainty surrounding the present situation today, especially given the recent COVID-19 cases including a report in the neighborhood adjacent the conference location in the Washington D.C. area.  This was an extremely difficult decision to make—many people have spent countless hours working to ensure a successful conference—and up until today we believed we would be able to proceed.  However, we now believe the prudent course, to ensure the safety of our members, our speakers, and the community, and in light of many speakers that are now unable to participate due to corporate travel restrictions, is to postpone the conference.
